SKU# 6757  Economy Cow Rawhide Full Side
Economy Cow Rawhide Full Side  89.95
Stock No. NMK-DIAA-CowRawhideSide

Cow rawhide is a medium heavy weight skin. A cow side averages 16-18 sq ft. The hide pictured is for illustrative purposes and may not be the exact rawhide you will receive. Hides are pulled at random.

A cow rawhide averages about 10 pounds and because it is big and bulky, it will require an oversized package. This will incur an extra $20.00 surcharge to cover the additional shipping charges.

It is common to find scrapes, scars, brands, and some holes in the skin. Cow rawhide is good for medium to heavy weight projects. It is best for large drum heads, snowshoe webbing, rawhiding of wooden saddle trees, knife sheaths, as well as heavy duty lacing for lashing together log furniture etc., and larger crafts. This rawhide is flexible and the strings cut from it are full of “life.”

Rawhide is raw skin that has been dehaired and cured (stretched and dried), but contains no preservatives. It can be tanned into finished leather using primitive brain tan and smoke methods or commercial preservatives.

Not produced by or the product of a particular Indian or indian tribe as defined by 26 USA - 605 et Seq
