This dance staff is a representation of the power of Eagle and the Black Fox. The faux eagle skull and foot are cast in resin from a mold made from a real eagle. They are meticulously hand painted to look lifelike.

This staff is wrapped with authentic black buckskin with fringes decorated with glass crow beads and tipped with black cocque feathers and imitation eagle feathers and silver cones. It also has two bundles of horse hair, to give the dancer stamina, a quartz crystal to absorb negative energy, a coyote tooth for a sense of humor, an ermine tail, and a raccoon penis bone for fertility. (Note: the horse hair bundles were added after the pictures were taken.)

There are also three sections of genuine fox fur.

This eagle dance staff is approximately 30" long from the tip of the head to the end of the foot. It is about 15" tall, measured at the staff to the bottom of the big feathers. The braided hanger is not included in these measurements. The front horse hair bundle is also about a foot longer than the feathers.

This eagle dance staff can be shipped internationally. However, feathers cannot be shipped to New Zealand. We can remove the feathers upon request. The materials used should be importable to most countries, but be sure to check with the customs office in your country before ordering if in doubt. We willl not be responsible for items seized by customs agents.
