Here are the most frequently asked questions about our affiliate program.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an affiliate program?
If you have a Web site, you can start earning money today by joining our AAA Native Arts affiliate program. Simply place one or more links to our site on your site and each time someone clicks from your site to ours and places an order, you\'ll receive 10% of that sale. That\'s right- every time a customer makes a purchase on our site from your link, you\'ll earn 10% of their purchase, excluding sales tax (if applicable) and shipping charges. Our average order is $120.00. In addition, if you recruit others to also affiliate with us, we will give you an additional 2% from each of their referred sales. Can non-US residents participate in this affiliate program?
Yes, if PayPal allows payments to your country, you may participate if you have a verified address. PayPal makes payments in 55 countries and regions worldwide. Not a member of yet? You can apply here, it is FREE to open an account and receive money through PayPal online.

Once your payment has been transferred to your PayPal account, you can:

  • Use it to pay other merchants online.
  • Have a paper check issued and mailed to you, (if your country qualifies), or
  • Transfer part or all of your PayPal balance directly into your checking account with the click of a button. (restrictions apply for some countries, check the PayPal terms for your country.)

However, not all of our products can be shipped outside the US. Individual product descriptions will make a note of this if it is applicable. In particular, products with natural feathers and/or animal parts are banned from import to some countries.

What currency do you pay in?
We pay in US Dollars through PayPal. You can have PayPal convert your payment to the equivalent in Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling, Yen, or Australian Dollars at no charge to you.

How often do I get paid?
We pay monthly, 30 days after the sale was made, providing you earned at least $50.00 during the month being paid. If your earnings are less than the minimum, they are carried over to the next pay period or until the minimum for a payout is met.

In other words, your earnings from the month of February would be mailed on April 25th. You would then receive your March earnings by the 25th of May, etc. This allows 30 days for any refunds or exchanges to be recorded and adjusted.

Can I advertise your products via email?
Yes, provided you are emailing members of a double-opt-in mailing list, where list members have specifically asked to receive information from you.

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on spam in any form (email, news groups, guestbooks, etc). If you are caught sending spam, your account will be terminated immediately ON THE FIRST OFFENSE, you will forfeit any earnings in your account, and we will report you to all the affiliate spam registries, warning other affiliate programs that you are a spammer. We take this policy VERY SERIOUSLY. JUST DON\'T BE A SPAMMER!

How will I be paid?
We make all payments through, where we are a Verified Seller. From there, you can have your funds transferred electronically directly to your bank account, have a paper check issued and mailed to you, or use your PayPal account to pay other merchants online.

How long have you been in business?
We have been doing business off-line for over 20 years. We have been selling online since 1998.

Can I advertise your products off-line in newspapers, magazines, etc?
Yes, as long as you don\'t misrepresent our products in any way. This is a very effective method to drive traffic to your web site.

Can I advertise your products using Pay Per Click Search engines?
Yes, as long as you don\'t bid on any trademarked names, including AAA Native, AAA Native Arts and AAA Native Arts Gallery, or any misspellings of same. If you are experienced with managing Pay Per Click campaigns, this can be a profitable way to promote affiliate program products. If you are inexperienced, we\'d suggest you start with some of the minor players, such as or, where bid prices are generally lower. You can find tutorials on how to use Pay Per Click search engines effectively on our sister sites, and

Can I link to individual products in your catalog?
Certainly. You know your web surfers better than we do. This is a very effective way to reach a target audience with exactly the products that will interest them. In our experience, individual product links and text links worked into the body of articles on your web site talking about a related subject will out perform banner ads by more than 400%.

Can I use your images and descriptions for individual products on my website?
Yes, as long as you download the images and upload them to your own server. To do this, right click on the image, then choose Save As and save it to your computer. Then you can upload it from there to your web hosting account using an FTP program.

For a better chance at ranking well in the major search engines and not being penalized for duplicate content, we suggest that you only use our descriptions as a guide to write your own unique descriptions. Just be sure not to misrepresent any aspect of the products in the descriptions you use. Hint: You can sell anything you can tell a story about, so if you can include an informative or amusing bit of folklore or personal experience in your description, this will help you to sell the product.

For example, you might briefly explain that Kokopeli was a native american fertility God, and petroglyphs picturing him have been found on canyon walls dating back more than 1,000 years. Then offer a product with a picture of Kokopelli on it.
