 SKU# 3704  Polished Buffalo Horn
Polished Buffalo Horn  9.89
Stock No. BBH-WBH3-BJJ-polishedBuf

These are real buffalo horns. Each horn is slighty different in shape, color and marbling. Horns range from a basic black color with some marbling to a basic black color with no marbling. Price is for one horn. Pulled at random. If you are ordering two, we will match them for size, shape and color the best we can. Average length - 6 - 8 " x width 2".

Since the dawn of civilization, buffalo horn has proven itself as a versatile raw material for making handcrafts and artwork. It is relatively easy to saw, sand, turn and carve, polishes well and is malleable when heated. In contrast to plastic, horn is non-static, regulates moisture well and is gentle on the skin. These horns have already been buffed to a high shine.

Buffalo horns are a great addition to many different craft projects including bags, pipe bowls, jewelry, hats, capotes, powder horns, horn utensils, gun cases and clothing for living history, and free-trapper products.

Buffalo horn is also ideal for making amulets, brooches, buttons, bowls, spoons, knife handles, ferrules, pipe mouth pieces, etc.

This buffalo horn can be shipped internationally.
