This dance staff is a representation of the power of Eagle and Coyote. The faux eagle skull and foot are
cast in resin from a mold made from a real eagle. They are meticulously hand painted to look lifelike.
This staff is wrapped with authentic beige buckskin with fringes decorated with glass crow beads and tipped with grizzly chinchilla feathers and silver cones. It also has a bundle of horse hair, to give the dancer stamina, a coyote tooth for a sense of humor, and a raccoon penis bone for fertility.
The center drape has dozens of glass crow beads in the fire colors of red, yellow and orange, silver beads, four silver turtle conchos, and four barred turkey wing feathers.
There are also three sections of genuine coyote fur.
This eagle dance staff is approximately 30" long from the tip of the head to the end of the foot. It is about 15" tall, measured at the staff to the bottom of the big feathers. The braided hanger is not included in these measurements.
The one of a kind dance staff shown is the dance staff you will receive.
