SKU# 3439  Buffalo Jaw War Club
Buffalo Jaw War Club  69.95
Stock No. RSI-BAAA-BufJawWarClub

Bone war clubs were typically made from buffalo jaws or sometimes elk or other heavy animal jawbones prior to the arrival of white traders. Often they were painted with symbols that meant something to the owner as a talisman, or with a design he had seen in a supernatural dream, or perhaps the designs depicted the feats of the owner in prior battles.

This buffalo jawbone war club is hand painted, so each design will vary slightly. If you have a preference for colors used in your design, leave a comment on your checkout order form.

The jawbone is antiqued using a special process to give the appearance of age. The base of the jaw is wrapped in authentic buckskin to form the handle, and it is decorated with horse hair, brass or silver beads and cones, and glass crow beads on buckskin fringes, and duck feathers.

This buffalo jaw war club can be shipped internationally, but attitional postage may be required. Be sure to check with your local customs office to make sure buffalo jaws can be imported to your country. We are not responsible for items seized by customs agents.

This is a reproduction piece made in the USA. Because it is hand made to your specifications, allow a few days for completion, in addition to shipping time.

This war club is not made by a particular indian or indian tribe. For decorative purposes, only. Not intended to be used as a weapon.
