This stone tomahawk is made with the same craftsmanship used in the old days. The stone tomahawk head is approximately 5 1/2 inches across the widest part and about 2 inches high on the widest end, by one inch thick. It is attached to the strong hickory wood handle with real deer rawhide.
The handle is wrapped in buckskin and decoraded with glass seed beadwork. The many goose feathers are attached with glass crow trade beads and brass cones. Overall length, including the stone head and wood handle is approximately 17 inches.
This artifact replica was hand made in the USA.
