This authentic buckskin bag could be used as an elegant purse or would fit right in as a possible bag at your next mountain man rendezvoux.
Possible bags were so named, because when it came to what one could put in them, anything was possible.
Today, they are very fashionable as both ladies and men's purses.
You can have this possible bag made in your choice of buckskin colors (shown in gold buckskin), or in colored cowhide suede. This soft deerskin bag's main compartment is a roomy 9" wide X 12" long. This purse is trimmed with 10" fringes which are tipped with brass cones.
The long shoulder strap has been braided for added strength and the length can be adjusted by moving the knot at the top. Or, if you prefer, we can substitute a double stitched flat shoulder strap or convert it to a belt bag. This bag is sewn with a double stich, which is very strong.
A 3"beaded rosette decorates the front of the bag and is surrounded by stitched braidwork. The beadwork shown is representative and will vary. If you have a preference, (see chart below), just leave a comment with the rosette number of your 1st and 2nd choices in the comment box of your checkout form.

It also has an outer compartment that closes with a drawstring that is approximately 6" x 7" and the front of the bag also has additional fringes that are decorated with glass crow beads chosen to match the rosette and several quartz crystal points and brass cones. If you have a preference on the colors of the Crow Beads, leave a comment in the comment box on your order form.
The picture shown is representative. Because this is a hand made item, each bag may vary slightly. Allow a few days for construction time.
