 SKU# 3780  Antler Tomahawk
Antler Tomahawk  124.99
Stock No. RSI-AntlerTomahawk

This interesting tomahawk features a stone head on an antler handle. It is accented with a real mink or muskrat skull, a buffalo or coyote tooth, deer dew claw, a medicine bag, crystal, arrowhead, fox leg bone, and deerskin fringes.

Nearly every warrior carried a club of some kind. Such weapons were fashioned in various ways from whatever materials were available. It was only after European traders introduced metal hatchets that the word "Tomahawk" became linked with an axe like weapon, and was later extended to mean any kind of war club with a smashing or cutting weapon on the end of a handle.

This particular Tomahawk is made from a river rock bound onto a deer antler handle. It is then wrapped with deerskin and adorned with a medicine bundle for protection and supernatural abilities in battle, simulated Eagle feathers which had to be earned by feats of bravery, a small bone from a Fox to enhance the cunning of its owner, a crystal to protect the owner from negative energies, a deer hoof to remind the warrior that sometimes gentleness will accomplish more than fighting, and a tuft of horse hair from his favorite pony for speed and stamina.

Because each antler tomahawk is hand crafted especially for you, the picture shown is representative. The shape of the stone head and the antler may vary.
