The  Ely Shoshone Tribal Lands are located on the Southwest & Southeast sides of the City of Ely, Nevada in three seperate locations.

Establishment:

28 September 1931 – by Authority of the Act of 27 June 1930 (46 Stat. 820), purchase of 9.945 acres. (0.37 acres federally owned)

1977 – 90 acres by Legistlation 

Location:

On the Southwest & Southeast sides of the City of Ely, three seperate locations, White Pine County, Nevada. 

Acreage:

99.95 Tribal Land
0.37 acres of Federal land 
11 acres of trust lease – White Pine County 

Government:

Organized under the Indian Reorganization Act of 18 June 1934 (48 Stat. 984) as amended. Constitution and By-Laws of the Ely Shoshone Tribe approved 08 April 1966.
