The Cherokee of Georgia Spring Pow Wow is a fun Pow Wow for the whole family. This pow wow has Arts & Crafts vendors, children’s activities, reinactors, story tellers, flute players, supplies, demonstrations and even Museum relics!

The event begins at 9:00 am in the morning with the flag raising ceremony. Vendors are open at 10:00 am, with social dancing and cultural activities beginning at 1:00pm. Grand Entry and Inter-tribal dancing begins at 7:00pm. The Cherokee of Georgia Tribal Library and Cultural Center will be open between afternoon dancing and grand entry.

Dancing will conclude when the dancers and drummers stop.

Thursday and Friday have guided field trips available, school and home school groups are welcome, and bus parking is available.

Bring blankets and chairs. Bathrooms are available. (It doesn’t hurt to bring your own toilet paper.)
