First full weekend:
Valley of the Chiefs Powwow – Lodge Grass, Montana (July 4 through followingWeekend)
Valley of the Chiefs Powwow and Rodeo is held at Lodge Grass, Montana on the Crow Reservation, over the Independence Day weekend. It includes a rodeo, parade, Indian dancing, tipi camping, and a parade & dance through the village on the last day.

Standing Arrow Pow Wow – Elmo, MT

The Standing Arrow Pow Wow is held at the Elmo Pow Wow Grounds. This is an Indian social gathering featuring drumming, dancing, and traditional dress, food, and gambling games. This is the Kootenai Tribe’s celebration hosted by the Flathead Reservation, on the west shore of Flathead Lake.

Annual Winnebago Pow Wow – Veterans Memorial Park on U.S. 75 east of Winnebago, Nebraska
The 140th Annual Winnebago Pow-Wow commemorates Chief Little Priest and Company A Fort Omaha Scouts of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the Honoring-The-Clans Sculpture Garden featuring a unique outdoor plaza showcasing the 12 clans of the Winnebago Tribe (Ho-Chunk Tribe).
Ethete Celebration Powwow – Ethete, Wyoming

This small powwow is a gathering of family and friends, young and old, honoring traditions with drumming, singing, dancing, and beautiful regalia. Intertribal dances welcome all to the circle to dance and celebrate together. The Ethete Celebration is hosted by the Northern Arapaho tribe.

The 140th annual homecoming celebration of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska will be July 27 through 30 at Veterans Memorial Park on U.S. 75 east of Winnebago, Nebraska.
This year the powwow begins on July 17 (3RD WEEKEND IN JULY) with a new event called Strengthen My Nation Youth Day On July 17. Pearl Yellowman, from Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Health, is in charge of the event and said there will be positive activities for kids as they transition into the powwow weekend.
