Ontario First Nations of Canada
First Nations of Ontario speak languages derived primarily from two language families. The languages of the Ojibway, Cree, Delware, and Potawatomi First Nations of Ontario are derived from the Algonquian linguistic family, while the languages of the Oneida, Mohawk, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga and Tuscarora First Nations are derived from the Iroquian linguistic family.
