SKU# 5703  Raccoon Baculum (Penis Bone)
Raccoon Baculum (Penis Bone)  14.96
Stock No. HAF-2725-2001-RaccoonPen

You are purchasing one raccoon bacculum bone, commonly referred to as a penis bone, pulled at random. The scientific name for these bones is os penis ("penis bone" in Latin") and among their many common names are love bone, pecker bone, coon dong, possum prick, Texas toothpick, Arkansas toothpick, mountain man toothpick, and baculum (Latin for "little rod").

These bones are about 2.5" to 3.5" (6.4 cm to 8.9) long. They have been cleaned, fumigated, and bleached.

These work great for trinkets on your craft projects or just to have as a conversation piece. A raccoon penis bone represents fertility and is a lucky talisman for gamblers.

They are often used in love potions and as love charms. In the Midwest and some Southern states, it is a tradition for boys to make a necklace with a coon pecker, tye it with a red ribbon, and then present it to the girl they hope to have as a girlfriend as a necklace. This is supposed to be a love charm that will make her fall in love with him.
