Maccaw, Pheasant and Peacock Double Dreamcatcher  98.99
Stock No. RSI-MacawPeacockBlkDC-12

This dreamcatcher is available in a 12" in diameter or 15" diameter size and is approximately 36" to 40" long, depending on the diameter of the hoop. It is wrapped in black buckskin leather and features two hoops, one inside the other. This unique dreamcatcher has 3 large maccaw feathers, 4 peacock eye feathers, and numerous colorful pheasant feathers in hues of red, gold, green and blue. The feathers are held on with translucent turquoise and yellow glass crow beads that really sparkle when they are exposed to light.

The web has six large glass beads with red and irridescent green golden pheasant feathers, a one inch quartz crystal, a 2 1/2" black obsidian arrowhead and a bundle of black horse hair.

Hand crafted in the USA.

detail of dreamcatcher
The dream catcher comes from an Ojibwe legend. According to the legend, hanging a dream catcher near a sleeping person causes the bad dreams to be caught in the web, while the good dreams enter through the hole in the middle and drift down the feathers to the sleeping person. Then in the morning, sunlight enters through the hole to melt the bad dreams away.

The beads in a dream catcher represent bad dreams that have been caught. A dreamcatcher can be made more powerful by adding personal totems that have significance to the owner of the dream catcher, such as fur, feathers, stones, beads or claws or bits of horn from the owner's totem animals.

Additional postage may be required if going outside the continental US. Additionally, there may be an $85 inspection fee for pheasant feathers going to some countries. If this is the case, we will notify you after we receive your order, and you will have the opportunity to accept these additional charges or cancel the order.

This is a one-of-a-kind hand made item, so the picture shown is representative. The one you receive may vary slightly.
