These large, heavy cross fox tails average 14 to 16 inches long and come in assorted colors. The cross fox is also known as the mutation fox because there are 11 different coat color phenotypes found in this fox (Vulpes vulpes). These are all natural colors, not dyed. Individual cross foxes often have unique markings.
