Venetian mosaic glass trade beads were a rare African trade bead that came from Venice, Italy. These beads vary in size from 18mm to 25mm in diameter and the longest cane shaped bead is about 1 1/2 inches. Most have large center holes that will go over a buckskin fringe easily. They come in various shapes and no two color patterns are exactly alike.
