This is a genuine turquoise nugget. Sizes and shapes will vary because each natural nugget is different and no two are exactly alike, but in general, stones will be 3/4" to 1" in diameter. The nugget has been tumbled to polish the stone.

Turquoise is a protection stone and also said to bring good luck. The Apache warrior, Geronimo, believed he could not be killed by bullets while he carried his lucky turquoise stone.
