Thunderbird Wall Clock
[92979515CPRThunderbirdClock]
$16.95

Decorate any room in your home or office with this colorful 10 inch wall clock. Black plastic case. Requires 1 AA battery (included).

This colorful thunderbird clock will brighten any room in your house. The thunderbird image and legend is well known throughout Native American lore, and it's shape has also been found in European rock art. The thunderbird controlled the skys, thunder and lightening in particular.

In Indian lore the Thunderbird was a great and invincible power, half hawk, half eagle, that ruled the skies. Thunder rolled from its wings and lightning flashed from its eyes to ward off danger.

The symbol of Thunderbird is the red zig-zag, lightning-bolt design, which some people mistakenly think represents a stairway. Most tribes feel he and the other Thunder beings were the first to appear in the Creation, and that they have an especially close connection to wakan tanka, the Great Spirit.

This item can be shipped internationally.

ThisThunderbird design is also available on apparel items and other housewears.
