This single head rawhide hand drum comes with it's own drumstick included. The frame of this drum is approximately 15" in diameter. Each drum is hand painted, so there might be slight variations from the one pictured.

This Elements drum honors the four directions and the four elements, fire, water, earth and air. The 12 black rectangles around the outer edge of the circle represent the 12 months, and also represent snakes. The snake represent abundance, protection and transformation, encouraging us to open to life in every season.

The color red represents the color of the Sacred Fire, blood, and success. Yellow is associated with the east and new beginnings, and symbolizes overcoming challenges through unconditional love.
