This dance staff is a representation of the Bald Eagle. The eagle head is carved from resin that looks like bone and the foot is cast in resin from a mold made from a real eagle foot. It has four meticulously hand painted immature bald eagle feathers.

This staff is wrapped with authentic buckskin with long fringes all along the mid-section. The buckskin fringes are decorated with more than 400 glass and brass beads and cones. Each fringe is tipped with a duck feather selected for it's resemblence to smaller bald eagle feathers.

Many traditional Northern Pow Wow dancers carry a similar dance staff.



The staff has a 5" section beaded with #11 glass seed beads. There are also three sections of black fox fur.

This eagle dance staff is approximately 35" wide from the tip of the head to the end of the foot. It is about 20" tall, measured at the longest point of the fringes.
