This shaman's ceremonial rattle is made from a gourd and is decorated with feathers and horse hair. The overall length is approximately 23-25 inches.

The handle has two sections of rabbit fur with glass seed beads in the midsection.

The base of the handle is wraped with buckskin , and has buckskin fringes at the end of the handle. Additional fringes at the top of the rattle have glass crow trade beads with more feathers (shown with small duck feathers). Coque feathers sprout from the top of the gourd.
