This limited edition print features a coyote coming down a snowy draw towards a tipi encampment. (Click the enlarge link to see the full picture.) It is painted on a macaw feather. Many people think the feathers in these prints look so lifelike, that they have trouble distinguishing them from real feathers.

This is a limited edition printing of 500. Each print is numbered. Print numbers will be issued in consecutive order as sold. Order early to reserve low edition numbers.

These limited edition prints are printed on acid-free paper that will last a hundred years, and are double matted in neutral colors chosen to compliment the print, yet match any decor.

Each art print is backed with cardboard, ready to frame, and is enclosed in a plastic bag for protection. This art print measures 8x10 inches, including the mat. The mat pictured is representative, the one you receive may vary. If you are ordering more than one print, we will try to match mat colors when available.

Coyote is known in native american mythology as "The Trickster." There are many legends about Coyote's antics, where he gets into all kinds of trouble because of his tricks. But in the end, each of these stories has a moral and Coyote learns a valuable lesson. For this reason Coyote is also known as a teacher totem.

The macaw totem brings guidance and wisdom to think before speaking, and is said to bring the rain.
