Total length of the eight strand real leather bolo cord is 44" and they are adorned with silver beads and silver tips. The Sterling Silver Bolo is 2-3/4" by 3-1/4". The matching buckle is 2-3/4" wide, 3-1/2" long, with a 1-1/2" wide keeper. Stamped Sterling. Signed T. Singer. This style of sterling silver work is called an overlay technique.

During the heyday of the Plains Indian cultures, every part of the buffalo was utilized for food, clothing, tools and weapons.

Over 60 million buffalo, (more correctly called bison) swept the plains of North America until the mid 1800s. Today there are a little over 3,500 wild buffalo remaining, most of them in Yellowstone National Park, where they are protected.
