Giclée Fine Art Prints |
|
The French word, "giclée" (pronounced "zhee-clay") describes a technique of spraying multiple layers of color, a term that has been accepted by the art print industry to define high quality, archival fine art prints.
The giclée print has an apparent resolution much greater than a traditional lithographic print and a wider color range than serigraphy. The final product printed on fine art canvas or archival heavy watercolor paper has the rich look and texture of an original work of art.
The artist works closely with an experienced master printer to achieve museum quality prints for his collectors. The image is reproduced with the exacting details, subtle nuances and the gradations of tones of the original painting.
