Actors - Actress: Casting Call given for The Lost Warrior
Posted on Monday, March 03 @ 18:51:04 CST

Joshua International has given a casting call for a feature film to be shot in 2008. This period piece is set in Tennessee and North Carolina in the mid to late 1700's, the beginning of the Cherokee removal. This screenplay is based on an 8 1/2 year study. The film is Part 1 of a Trilogy that will end with Part 3 in 1842. The producers are making every effort to stay true to the actual historical events, and are consulting with members of the represented Tribal Governments. This feature film will be shot in North Carolina and Louisiana.

For those that are familiar with Cherokee history, the story is set around Little Carpenter, Old Tassel, Oconostota, Dragging Canoe, Isaac Thomas and Nancy Ward.

They are looking for fresh faces from 18 to 80. Specify if you would like to be considered for a character role, stunts, reenactor, or extra.

A strong resume in theater and acting is great, but not mandatory. All hopefuls should send a resume along with a head shot photo and also polaroid or digital photos in a swimsuit or shorts and tank top with front, side, and back views. Make sure the headshot is a good quality photo and that you list your personal stats like hair color, height, weight, size, and include your phone number, mailing address, and email address. If you like you may also let them know what Tribal affiliation you are, if applicable.

Please email Michelle Shining Elk at MICHELLESHININGELK@GMAIL.COM to get the actor profile documents emailed to you.

Send your completed casting application, along with supporting documentation to Margie Small, Casting Director. Contact information is on the actor profile form.

All the people who auditioned in South Dakota should email or call the casting director as soon as you can at Casting_thelostwarrior@yahoo.com.
